The Farmington Police Department, located in Farmington, New Mexico, is an internationally accredited and progressive law enforcement agency committed to maintaining the highest standards of personal and organizational integrity while providing our community with a superior level of service.

Department challenges are met by remaining responsive to community needs, employing innovative crime-fighting strategies, implementing state-of-the-art technology, and providing leadership to our young people through effective crime prevention and intervention programs.

CALEA

The Farmington Police Department continues to meet the standards to remain accredited through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). The department went through the re-accreditation process in 2012 and was awarded a Gold Standard Certificate of Re-accreditation.
